Special Projects Coordinator Katie Apatiki

Katie Apatiki was born in Seattle, Washington and grew up in the rural town of Sunburst, Montana. After travelling a bit after high school, she made her way to Anchorage, Alaska and has lived in Anchorage for the past 12 years. Katie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology with a minor in Alaska Native Studies. Katie has worked for the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium in primary care and hospitality since 2011 . After working for the past 3 years in the ANTHC Behavioral Health Department, she is using her knowledge of the Tribal behavioral health system in her new role as Special Projects Coordinator for the BHA Program and looks forward to helping BHA’s fulfill their career goals. Outside of work, you can find Katie enjoying a good book, walking the trails, nerding out over cool rocks she finds, cruising in her Wrangler, and adventuring throughout Alaska with her family.
