Special Projects Coordinator Jolene Firmin Telford, BA

Jolene earned a BA in Psychology and certificate in Community Mental Health from the University of Alaska Anchorage. She has worked in various capacities supporting family service workers, parent educators, early childhood educators, and Behavioral Health Aides throughout rural Alaska. As the Special Projects Coordinator, Jolene enjoys supporting BHAs and BHA Supervisors across the Tribal Health System with their professional development goals. Outside of ANTHC, she enjoys exploring the Anchorage trail systems throughout the year and developing her urban homestead. She is a member of the Gwichyaa Zhee Gwich’in Tribe from Fort Yukon, Alaska.
