The next Integrated Health Aide Forum is scheduled for Monday, Nov 4 – Thursday, Nov 7, 2024, at 8:00 am daily located at the Egan Center. The Awards Ceremony will be on Wednesday, November 6. The goal at each CHAP Forum is 24 CE hours for CHA/Ps. We hope to see you there!

Alaska Community Health Aide Appreciation Day is established on September 10 each yearto honor community health aides. Alaska Community Health Aide Appreciation Day was established this year in a bill from Representative CJ McCormick (D – Bethel). McCormick said, “I wanted to express my gratitude for the hard work and dedication shown by Community Health Aides and acknowledge that their contributions are critical to the health and well-being of Alaska’s communities.”

The Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Course for Community Health Aides is now open for registration! The course will be held from June 28 to July 1 at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium. This is a two-part course. The dates of the second course will be announced this summer.
