Review and Approval Committee

The Review and Approval Committee (RAC) is a sub-committee of the Association of Alaska CHAP Directors (AACHAPD). RAC maintains standards and evaluation tools for the review of the CHA training centers. RAC is a statewide group composed of members from each CHA training center, field supervisors, CHAP directors, and CHPs. Annual reports and five-year on-site reviews are part of their tasks to ensure adherence to the CHAP Certification Board’s standards and procedures. RAC’s goal is to ensure that CHA training centers achieve and maintain minimum standards for training. The primary responsibility of the RAC is to attest to the educational quality of certified training centers.
