BHA Training Center Request for Course Equivalent
The BHA Training Center will review courses completed at another institution or training program to determine if it meets the BHA curriculum requirement. If you think that you have already completed a course from an approved sponsor you may complete a Request for Course Equivalent. Please allow two weeks to process the request.
Certain BHA courses are unique to the BHA Scope of Practice, therefore course equivalents will not be accepted for the following:
- General Orientation
- Ethics, Consent, Confidentiality, and Privacy
- Introduction to Documentation
- Working with Diverse Populations
- Traditional Health Based Practices
- Behavioral Health Documentation
- Applied Case Studies in Alaska Native Culture Based Issues
