Sr. Program Manager Rachel D. Schierholt, CM

Rachel Schierholt has worked for ANTHC since May of 2008. She currently is the Sr. Program Manager. Additionally, she also serves as: Anchorage Site Infection Control Coordinator, Ilisagvik College Adjunct Faculty and ADTEP Admissions Chair, in-house photographer, website content author, social media manager, produces publications and posters, and ad hoc IT person as she keeps department computers updated with digital dental software and hardware. She oversees DHAT recruitment activities and supports tribes and individuals that are interested in Dental Therapy. Rachel enjoys that her job gives her a variety of experiences. She manages the administrative and patient registration processes for the Anchorage and Bethel clinical sites. Rachel’s favorite activities are incorporating wellness when she is scheduled to teach students. She has completed the Institute of Professional Manager’s Certified Manager program and hold the CM Credential. She is actively enrolled as a degree seeking student in Medical Office Management with Iḷisaġvik as of August 2019. She recently graduated from Iḷisaġvik College with her Office Management I Certificate. When Rachel is not working or learning new things she enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters at home, baking, gardening, and creating traditional Yup’ik sewing and beading projects.
